Manicure Monday: Catrice 905 Steel My Soul

I was inspired by Jen from frmheadtotoe's Manicure Mondays so here I am doing the same thing. For my first Manicure Monday, I'm here showing off Catrice's Steel My Soul. It is a lilac-greyish colour with tiny gold specks nail polish. It also dries matte.

Excuse the label of this polish. I've had this for a year.
It has a dome shaped brush.
This is what it looks like with just one coat.

I was so in love with this nail polish when I first got it last year.  I have featured this polish a lot in my Instagram. The only thing about this polish is that it is no longer available which is such a shame.

Valentine's Day 2014

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Or Single Awareness Day to others.  I hope your day was filled with happiness and love.

Earlier this week I decided to gift my friends with my home made crinkles and I got these cupcake gift boxes in my local Dealz which is in the City Centre of Dublin.  They were very cheap! €1.49 for 6 boxes!  I was so happy that they sell those!

10 boxes filled with 10 crinkles :D Blues for boys and pinks for the girls ;)
I spent almost 5 hours last night doing those plus some crinkles for my sisters and of course some for the family.  The next day (V-Day) I went to college with a paper bag filled with these. Due to the bad weather, the paper bag ripped and I tried to fit everything in my school bag which was also filled with my school stuff. It was not easy bringing those around the city without having them destroyed.  It actually made me question if what I was doing for others.  However, the facial expressions of my friends made it worth it. It really made me realize how much I love giving and making people happy.

My very good friend and I went out to eat at Camden Rotisserie. It was very affordable especially to DIT students like us since we get the "Buy One Get One" deal. The atmosphere is great and the staff is really chill and friendly too.

A dozen of Chiken Wings. We chose for the hot ones. We liked but not loved it because it was not spicy enough for us. Maybe because we are used to eating spicy food? But nonetheless, it was good.
We both had Italian Style Burger. It had grilled breast chicken, slices of tomatoes, cabbages and other vegetable salad, onion rings (very yummy by the way) and their special sauce. The bun was crunchy and I loved it.
Here is my beautiful date for Valentine's Day <3
Aside from being a foodie, I'm a big fan of make up so here is my MOTD/FOTD

Poor quality photo sorry!
Products used:

  • Etude House's Precious Mineral Bright Fit BB Cream
  • Primark's Take A Brow Kit (Pencil)
  • Rimmel's Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss in 107 (Hopefully, I can write a review about this product)
  • Etude House's Oh M'Eye Lash in Curling
I was in such a hurry that I forgot to wear blush!

My two guy friends surprised me with chocolates and a long stemmed rose! This is the very first Valentine's that I received anything from a guy! I did not expect it at all. It was unromantic but it really took me by surprise that I almost cried because of happiness.

Anyways, I wanted to blog this day because it's a memorable one <3
Wishing you all a happy Valentine's day!
