ESthetics (Haul & Review): CutenCuterFactory.com

Hello beautiful earthlings!

How have you all been? It has been ages since my last post! I have been quite busy with college and a bit out of it lately.  I am also preparing for my internship application for the next semester that keeps me a littl, if not a lot insane!

It has been a while since I last posted an ESthetic post so let's take a break from the EsTrails posts and I have this ESthetic/beauty related post for you beautiful earthlings!

Haul: Monki Sunglasses

Hello beautiful earthlings!
I am here with a haul post from Monki.  I made a purchase through their website.  They offer free shipping for orders  over €80. And if you do not want to splurge €80 to get free shipping, they offer shipping fee for €9. I placed my order on Friday night and I received it today (Thursday).

The package came in this little plastic packet with a cute design.

The packet contained the sunglasses I ordered, an invoice and a return slip just in case there was something I wanted to return.
The sunnies were packed in this clear plastic tube to keep it away from potential damages.

I have been on the hunt for a thick rimmed cat-eye sunglasses.  This Eve sunglasses is the one the fitted my liking!  It is so pretty!  They also have this in a tiger print.

This is the Luz sunglasses. I am quite disappointed with this one since the lens colour in the website is more like a sky/light blue. It is more darker in person.  They also have this in two other colours.

Okay, excuse my face.  I just got out fresh from the shower and giving my hair a break from using the hair dryer. Also, I am make-up free so I may not look as presentable but I'm okay with it haha!
I tried the Luz sunglasses and like I said, I was somewhat disappointed. I was hoping that even if I wore the glasses, the blue tint would still be visible.  But I guess the blue tint of the lens would only show up if you have a lighter complexion than I do.

I am actually quite in love with the Eve sunnies! I expected it to be bigger though but I guess my face is just too round for the sunnies. Nonetheless, I still love it!

I cannot wait to start wearing this to my upcoming holiday!
I hope you all enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Wishing you a happy weekend since we are nearing the weekend mark!
Peace and Love!

Haul: Boots (Sleek, L'Oreal, Maybelline)

Hello beautiful earthlings!  It has been a while since I last posted anything (no surprise there)!

Boots was (or maybe still is) having a 3 for 2 event on their makeup products and I just had to make the most of the opportunity since you get the cheapest product for free! I always get last product with the same price range as the two products to make the most of the value of my money.

I have run out of foundation to use for months and the only face base makeup I use is my Etude House BB cream.  I used to use Shu Uemura's foundation but it was already 2/3 year old foundation that it broke me out. I have read and watched reviews of the True Match foundation by L'Oreal saying it really is a good drugstore foundation.

I was kinda hesitant buying any drugstore foundation as it was so difficult to find the shade the matches my skin. But then again, even if I buy a high end foundation, the sales lady would always use a shade that is two shades darker than my actual skin tone and is more orange based. I guess it is because being tan is such a trend here in Ireland.  I used L'Oreal's quiz to find my shade.

Unfortunately, when I got to Boots, they did not have N3 Creamy Beige so I just bought the shade lighter which is N2 Vanilla. I tested it when I got home and it matched my skin perfectly.

I tried the foundation during the weekend and I was so impressed!

I have been fond of using brown eyeliner on days when I just want to go for that natural/no makeup makeup look. Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner was the only brown gel liner I have found in store since everything was almost out of stock.

The colour is quite pigmented and softer than black.

My camera could not pick up the tiny flexes in the gel liner so I took a photo with the flash on.  I was quite disappointed to see sparkles in the pot since the packaging did not say that it would have them.

I have tried Sleek's blush called Rose Gold and loved it. Since I did enjoy using that blush, I told myself to get a new one.  This blush is in the shade Flushed.  It is a deep rose to almost a burgundy colour and it is matte.

A girl can never own too many lipsticks to be honest! I have seen Bubzbeauty rock a purple-pink lip colour months ago and fell in love with the colour.  She was using a lipstick from Mac and I can never afford that. When I saw Sleek does the similar colour, I grabbed it!

Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Mystic matte formula.  I have not tried this one yet but my workmate said that it is really good.

I also grabbed Sleek's Eau La La lip liner in Raisin since I own a couple of purple lippies and I want them to last longer.

My camera is not picking up the lip liner's colour due to bad lighting so I took a photo with the flash on.  Am I the only one who still sports purple lips when it's already Spring?

I have been eyeing this Vintage Romance palette way before Boots had Sleek in stores.

The names of the eyeshadows in this palette is just adorable! It does have that romantic vibe to it!

The colours of the eyeshadows in this palette just grabbed my attention when I first saw it in the Sleek website.  Aren't they gorgeous? I would not really wear these colours on a dailty basis but I can't wait to try them soon!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and let me know what you think by leaving a comment.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Peace & Love!

Haul: Benefit's SugarGlam Fairies

Hello beautiful earthlings. Hauls have been my thing lately and it's a blah I know. It's a bad habit of mine really since it makes me broke at the end of the day T__T But I am quite a happy gal to get me these things through my hardwork.

I got Benefit's SugarGlam Fairies in Clery's here in Dublin since it was on a HUGE sale. It was  originally priced €103 and was down for €43.55! It was such a good deal!

The set included a full size of the POREfessional, full sized They're Real Mascara, full sized Hoola Bronzer and a mini sized Benetint.

I am very excited to try the bronzer since the saleslady told me that the undertone is green therefore does not look orange. I think orange bronzers don't look all that flattering on me. But then again, it's just my personal opinion about me haha

I hope everyone is having a good 2015 so far! May we be blessed this year as well as the previous one.

Peace & Love.

Unpacking, Haul & Small Review: Makeup Revolution

Hello beautiful earthlings! (I wonder if this should be my thing now?) I have finally received my package from Makeup Revolution that I ordered on 26th December.  It took approximately 10 days for me to receive it from the UK. Though I think they normally ship faster than that since I ordered it during the busy holiday season.

The package came like this in a plastic packet with Medichem and my postal address written on it.

When I opened the packet, it had the items wrapped well in bubble wrap as well as my invoice.  The bubble wrapped items on the right was what I purchased and the one on the left was a free promotional gift during Boxing Day.
I have to say that I am quite impressed at how they bubble wrapped my purchase.  Every gap between the palettes was bubble wrapped.

This was what I purchased from the website. I purchased two of their Full Vamp Lipstick Collection (one for me and for a friend), Iconic 1 (first palette on the left), Iconic 2 (the palette next to Iconic 1 haha), two of Iconic 3 (the last two palettes on the right) and two of the Mermaids Vs Unicorns palette (two at the bottom).
The reason why I bought the Iconic palettes was because I can never afford any of the Naked palette. I would love to have one but I have to realistic with my money and I have a lot of saving up to do with college and whatnot. I have heard good reviews about the Iconic palettes being such very close dupes of the Naked palettes so why not give it a shot right? The palettes are priced at €5.05 EACH! And the lipstick collection was only €2.53! Talk about scoring such a deal.

This was the free Christmas gift I received with my purchase. I got three lipgloss tubes in Eye to Eye, Touch and Move A Little Closer. I also received the Vivid Blush Lacquer in Heat and the one that made me squeal out of excitement, the I  Makeup's I Heart Passion palette!

I am looking forward to trying these products out and give a review. I know I always say that in every blog post but I am still waiting for the day that I will be getting my proper camera.
The only thing that made me a little sad was that the palettes (except the I Heart Passion) did not come in a box. I am really into the whole packaging and presentation of a product and that was the only thing that got me down.  I will be giving two of the palettes as presents and I hope my friends would not mind if it did not have a box with it even though it is still unopened.

That's it for now. I have to go back studying for my Management exam for tomorrow and I still have work later at 6 so forgive any grammatical and spelling mistakes since I don't have time to proofread!

Peace & Love.

My Book Depository Experience

I am so happy that I finally have my hands on these precious babies by the super talented Lang Leav.  So this post is dedicated to The Book Depository where the books were ordered. I got the books today which is 1 October.

The packages were delivered in envelopes with bubble wraps inside

The books were ordered together but I got a message from the Book Depository saying that the books might arrive separately since items are dispatched separately but I am glad that I received both books on the same day which makes me happy.

I opened the package(s) and here are the items inside:

Both packages contained the order list that states the Order ID, Order Date and Order Details.  Then each package contained their perspective books and had a bookmark each. I was happy to see bookmarks! They really made me so delighted!

So the books were ordered on the 22 September and I received them today.  It took 2 days for the books to be dispatched and according to the website that it takes 4-6 business days and it took 6 business days for me to receive them. I'm also happy that the books were in great condition when I got them with no creases whatsoever (I am kinda OC when it comes to my books so yeah). Another big plus about this website is FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE!

Here's the "compulsory" selca/selfie with the books!
I kinda thinking whether I should open up a label here in my blog talking about books I love/like/dislike/hate? But I won't classify it as a book review kinda thing because I am not great at it and unlike other book reviewers, I am not so in depth with it and people might get frustrated with my thoughts of a certain book. Anyways I am still thinking about it.

Peace and Love,
Esjae

Haul: Superdry, AllSaints, Tony Moly and Etude House

Yay for two blog post in a day!
At the beginning of the year, my parents and I went to Kiladare Village Shopping Outlet. Got a couple of things that I would like to share with you. This is not me bragging of what I got okay?

Got this shorts from Reebok for only € 5.  I now use it as my jogging shorts :D

This shorts is from AllSaints! Finally I have something from this brand! I've been eyeing AllSaints for so long but I can never afford it but thank God for outlet shopping.  The original price was € 88 but I got this for €28 :D

This is from AllSaints as well. This is actually a large men's shirt but I can work a man's shirt.  I got this for only € 14.

I really like this top! I got it because of the patch! It reminded me like an anime's uniform! And by I, I mean my parents! Thank you mom and dad!

My best friend came back from the Philippines and she got me these make-up items! Yay! I need a few more weeks to test them out for a review :D

You might be wondering where is the Superdry, well I forgot to take a photo of it. And too lazy to do it now. It's just a normal Superdry jacket haha

ELF Haul: Brushes, Beauty Book, and more!

Hi lovely guys and gals! How have you all been?! I'm quite glad that my exams are now finally over and now the dreaded exam results are what we all are waiting for. I pray that I pass all my modules.
Anyways, I'm here to present you a haul from ELF Cosmetics.  I have ordered a bunch of things from their website.

So here it is

The package came in a box like this one
An invoice was in the package along with the products
Here is what the inside looks like. They have placed the smaller products on top
This is then the second layer where the bulkier and bigger products were.
I was impressed that they shredded cardboard paper to ensure that the products won't be damage through delivery.

Here's a more closer look of what products I got. (I also have the direct links provided)

  • Beauty book in Natural Look (Got these two as presents for my sister and a friend who just had a birthday)
I was really pleased with the delivery since I got these in less than 2 weeks compared to the first time that I ordered and I only had 2 items! Thank you Adele (Her name was printed at the invoice saying that she was the only who picked up my order). I will be reviewing these products but I think it will take a while! I will have a gel eyeliner review soon! I just need one more day of testing it for me to finalize my thoughts on it :)

Disclaimer: This haul/blog post is not a form of bragging or anything of that sort. Also, I was not paid by the company to feature this. I bought all of the items here with my own money.
